Today we announce the availability of a set of 10 Geo-puzzles via the Geobash website under menu “Information -> Geobash Puzzle AL” or you can go straight to the puzzles here. Solve these puzzles before you get to the event ready for when the GeoBash Puzzle AL is made available on Thursday 28th March. You will need to be on-site to submit your answers. This AL will only be available for the duration of the Geobash mega event. Capital GeoBash onsite meals
Breakfast and dinner meals are now available to purchase on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March. Breakfast will be from 7 am to 8 am daily .Dinner will be a Fish meal only Good Friday 6 pm to 7 pm and Sat and Sun are 6pm to 8 pm. Good Friday Evening Grand Opening Wildlife Show
Location: Mega GZ Main roomAssociate Professor Gavin Smith is a snake ecologist and environmental sociologist from ANU and one of Australia’s well renown snake experts. The 45 minute FREE Wildlife show will feature many lizards including the Shingleback,Eastern Blue Tongue and Eastern Bearded Dragon. This will be followed by the snake show with 6 of the 10 most venomous snakes in Australia. Geocachers Wedding
After several delays, minniek (Melissa) and fitzy_1965 (Gavin) are getting married ! And when and where could be better than when most of our wonderful Geocaching friends are in Canberra for the Capital GeoBash Event. Gavin started geocaching in 2007, while Melissa started the hobby in 2016. We met at a geocaching event in 2016, and became an ‘item’ in early 2017.
