The OzMega Committee has been working hard already with the Mayor – Matthew Hatcher, The Eurobodalla Shire Council, Moruya Showground Staff and more locals in Moruya and surrounding areas to bring the greatest Mega Event ever seen on the South Coast.
The GeoBash Tours are famous for their love of an area combined with collecting caches along the way. Tour Leaders have already volunteered their time, expertise and enthusiasm to bring some fantastic adventures. From Mother Nature’s geological masterpieces to wartime bunker historical enlightenment, from delightful country town strolls to distillery tastings to excite the pallet. There is something for everyone. And so much more to come.
You can be close to the action by staying at the Moruya Showgrounds where the Mega will be held – over 200 powered sites are available for your caravan or tenting needs for only $49ea. Plenty of bathroom facilities, close to the Moruya Golf Club and an easy walk into the town centre. For those not staying there is still plenty of free parking onsite. There will be food and drink along with all the geocaching staples – Registration Desk, Stallholders, Seminars and of course 20 gadget caches to challenge your brain.
