200 available sites, including powered and limited water-connected spots, there is plenty of room. Sites are first-come, first-served.

Camping at the Moruya Showgrounds is the perfect home base for the Moruya GeoBash event, offering plenty of space for a full weekend of caching, socialising, and trackable trading. With over 200 powered onsite camping sites available it’s an affordable and convenient way for geocachers to stay right in the middle of the action. Instead of driving back and forth each day, you can wake up already on location and be first at the door for nearby gadget caches, registration, bonfire nights, seminars and much more.
The showgrounds setup makes it easy for the geocaching community to connect – whether that’s sharing stories from the day’s finds, swapping travel bugs, or coordinating group activities.
There is ample room for caravans, campers, and tents – sites will not be assigned, you will be able to snag a spot of your choice. The relaxed open grounds, naturally supports the social side of caching as much as the adventure side. Staying onsite means more time caching, more time connecting, and no missed opportunities when the event activities kicks off.
There are plenty of amenities including water access points, waste dump facility, showers, toilets and an upcoming camp kitchen and laundry.
Pets are welcome, but on leads at all times. There are no pets allowed in the buildings (except service pets with approved certificates these must be shown to a Committee Member and a copy taken to be sent to the Moruya Showgrounds Facilities Manager)
