Day time tour

Let me take you on a medium hike in part the extended fenced area of Mulligans Flat/Goorooyaroo Nature Reserve. It’s part of the ACT’s Yellow Box Grasslands and boasts good bird-life and a number of small mammals that have found a safe haven inside the cat and fox proof fence. When I go caching, I also do some birdwatching, spider spotting and generally enjoying being out there. There are some remnants of an old homestead we might be able to visit.
There is a good mix of caches in this area – including a multi, two wherigos, two mystery caches, two letterboxes and an earth cache.

Wildbark itself is a new educational centre and café and a great starting point to explore the western side of the reserve.

Please wear sturdy shoes, hat and bring water. If you have, bring your binoculars and camera.
