Tour

This is a trail walk up Mt Painter to ‘Canberra Nature Park’ (GC6CF) which was hidden in April 2001 and is the oldest geocache in the Australian Capital Territory. It’s a must-do for anyone completing their Jasmer Challenge! As your host, Scott (Toy Hunters) will narrate the history of geocaching (audio and visual aids included) on the way up Mt Painter and provide insightful facts and figures about our great game.
The tour includes 6 Traditional caches, 6 Adventure Lab locations, 1 Multi, 1 Wherigo, 1 Earthcache and 1 Mystery which is great for anyone trying to find 6+ geocache types in a day!
A light snack will be provided at the summit which has some of the most spectacular views that Canberra has to offer. Bring your hat, sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes, smartphones and lots of swag. Also bring along cooking recipes that you may like to swap (see GC15GNP for context).
There is a grocer, café and public toilet located a short drive away at the Cook Shops which will be open over Easter for anyone who may require these facilities before and/or after the tour.
