Established in April 2017, Canberra Park is the largest group-accommodation property in the Canberra region and has been designed to specifically meet the needs of groups traveling to Canberra. Canberra Park is located adjacent to EPIC (Exhibition Park In Canberra, aka Canberra Showground) on the Federal Highway and only 6km from the centre of the city. Canberra Park is the ideal location from which to explore all that the nation’s capital offers.

On-site Dining

A large open-plan dining room will offer meals throughout the day and evening. 3 meals per day with 2 hour sessions per meal time. Prices and menus to be confirmed later. Pay at reception per meal with eftpos available.

Group Accommodation

Spacious, purpose-built accommodation pods include contemporary guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms and communal living spaces. The block is centrally heated. More details.

Powered Sites

There are many powered concrete slab sites and 7 powered grass sites which includes access to a state of the art camp kitchen, amenities and laundry facilities second to none. Canberra Park provides premium powered grassy sites, many are drive through sites for those larger vehicles or those arriving late and wanting easy accessibility. There are options to suit all visitors.

Camping Facilities

The focus of the park’s development has been to provide easily accessible, convenient and spacious sites along with modern facilities. This includes guest laundry facilities with washers and dryers and a modern amenity building with a family bathroom for those traveling with younger children and a special access bathroom for those with special needs.

The camp kitchen aims to create a social place to gather and cook up a storm. Features include a large seating area complete with BBQ, oven, hotplates, microwave, fridge, freezer toaster and refrigerated filtered water on tap.

One nights fee applies as a deposit to secure a booking at the time of booking.Full payment can be made at any time,as long as it has been paid before or on arrival. Inside accommodation will be in the Bettong and Quoll complexes.

The National Folk Festival

Please note that the National Folk Festival occurs each Easter in Canberra and will be across the road at the EPIC for the duration of our event. This is a large and busy festival so it is unlikely you will find accommodation there. We have the all the powered slab and grass tent sites available for the exclusive use of Capital GeoBash. Folk Festival attendees are likely to fill the other blocks of accommodation.
